BIO

Rúben Gonçalves, born in 1997, from Loulé (Portugal).

I develop my artwork in the areas of drawing and painting, occasionally adventuring myself in the fields of sculpture and installations. In my production, I tend to explore various themes that go from psychoanalysis, to brief existential reflections, with a particular focus on the subjects of death and finality, while utilizing contemporary artistic practices, specifically blurring the boundaries between drawing and painting.
